Brief descriptions on some programs:

Stanford Online High Schoolhttp://ohs.stanford.edu

A fully-accredited, diploma-granting school, Stanford Online High School (OHS) offers a comprehensive curriculum for academically accelerated students in grades 7-12.  All OHS courses are taught in the same live, intensive, and interactive discussion seminars by instructors who are experts in their fields. In addition, OHS offers a community of learning sustained through vibrant student life. OHS students engage in over 30 clubs and extracurricular activities, participate in homerooms and assemblies, and meet together in person in their local regions and at the school’s graduation weekend and two-week summer program at Stanford.

Students can enroll at OHS for one class, several classes, or for a full course of study and earn a high school diploma.  All students receive academic counseling, and full-time students receive college counseling. OHS alumni study at many top-tier institutions, including Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, CalTech and MIT.

OHSx brings students everywhere the opportunity to take courses in the Stanford Online High School. In OHSx courses, motivated and academically-talented students explore their intellectual passions, developing analytical reasoning and creative thinking while working with expert instructors. OHSx also builds relationships with other institutions who may want to have their students take OHSx customized courses.

Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies (SPCS) strives to create and promote Stanford programs that enrich and enhance the educational experience of secondary and pre-secondary students worldwide. SPCS serves as a home for these programs, helping them to achieve their objectives while furthering common goals across the University.
